Victorinox Travel Gear Lifetime Warranty
The following is the official Victorinox Travel Gear Lifetime Warranty. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at The Luggage Shop either by phone or email. If you have a repair issue, please bring the luggage to our store or contact us as we will assist in the warranty process.
Victorinox Swiss Army, Inc. warrants to the end-user purchaser that the Victorinox product will be free from material or manufacturer defects that appear during the course of normal use of the product for the lifetime of the product, including functional defects due to normal wear and tear and damages incurred by an airline (except for accessories as well as small leather goods which are covered by the Victorinox Two-Year Warranty).
What is the scope of the Victorinox Lifetime Warranty?
The Victorinox Lifetime Warranty applies to backpacks, business cases, duffle bags, totes and wheeled luggage collections purchased in the United States of America or Canada on or after October 1st, 2024.
What does the Victorinox Lifetime Warranty not cover?
The Victorinox Lifetime Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains, or changes in color that may emerge from normal wear or tear, damage caused by improper handling, in particular any discoloration or degradation of fabrics due to exposure to sunlight, cleaning solvents or water resulting from improper storage or cleaning. Additionally, the Victorinox Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence or accidents, alteration or modifications to the product, nor does it cover damage caused by an unauthorized service center. The Victorinox Lifetime Warranty also does not provide for the replacement of lost or stolen baggage and their contents.
Remedy
If a product is found to be defective, Victorinox or one of its authorized service centers will repair or replace the product at its discretion. In cases where specific parts for your model are no longer available, comparable parts will be used. If the product cannot be repaired Victorinox reserves the right to replace it with an identical or equivalent model. Upon such replacement, the original remaining warranty period will continue to be in effect for the replacement product.
Warranty Claim Process

The Victorinox Lifetime Warranty applies only to products that were purchased in the United States of America or Canada, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Victorinox reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for products purchased outside the United States of America Canada.

To make a warranty claim, please contact Victorinox or your closest Victorinox service center in the United States of America or Canada. You must ship your product to a Victorinox service center in the United States of America or Canada.

Return shipping costs of the product from the Victorinox service center to you will be covered by Victorinox.

Repairs will be carried out to restore the intended functionality of the product, ensuring it once again serves as a reliable travel companion. While these repairs will be carried out professionally, Victorinox cannot guarantee the preservation of the product’s original appearance.

If the repair of the product is not covered by the Victorinox Lifetime Warranty, Victorinox or the Victorinox service center will contact you with an estimate of costs for the repair and return shipping.
